Attention Sculptor Parents and Guardians:
Student Renewal Forms for the 2008-09 school year went home with the students on March 3, 2008. Completion of this form is requested even if your child is not returning to Sculptor for the next school year.
All forms must be returned to the front office no later than Thursday, March 20, 2008. Failure to complete this parent/guardian agreement will have a direct impact on your child’s enrollment for the 2008-09 school year. Your child’s placement then becomes subject to the “new student application process”.
Your immediate attention to this matter is required and appreciated so that we may be adequately prepared for next year’s enrollment. We look forward to another “world famous” year, here at Sculptor Charter School!

Parent Volunteer Contract
***Parents and guardians agree to abide by all policies and procedures. Parents are an important part of our program; therefore, participation is necessary to support Sculptor's charter and mission. Each family is required to provide 20 hours of volunteer service per student, per year, to the school. Failure to comply with this requirement provides sufficient grounds to deny subsequent renewal of student admission. ***

In Case of Severe Weather
‘Tis the season here in Florida when we see and can anticipate afternoon thunderstorms and the potential for some severe weather. If the weather brings lightning with it during dismissal or at any time when students are scheduled to be outside, Sculptor will follow its emergency procedures and go on a “weather hold”. What this means is we will not allow Sculptor students or personnel outside during the severe weather conditions. During dismissal this can mean a delay in loading the bus and a delay in delivering students to their cars in the car loop. While we apologize for the inconvenience, our first priority is the safety of Sculptor students and staff.
