What's in a name?
Have you ever wondered why we are called Sculptor? We value the fine arts, and we think it’s important that all of our students have music, art, drama, PE, and technology as part of a well-rounded education. We develop culturally literate students who not only understand the concepts and skills within each subject area but how that knowledge relates to other studies. An example would be the link between Beethoven and Napoleon, studied both in music class and middle school social studies.
As you can imagine, we have lots of plays, concerts and art exhibits, whether by grade level or school-wide, in-house or for the public. Additional performance-based opportunities are also available through Drama Club, Chorus or art contests.
